the clitoria terntea, common name asian pigeonwing/butterfly pea, grow as vines and are native to the Indian sub-continent and south asia in general. when brewed, clitoria ternatea turns the water a brilliant blue. it’s believed that drinking tea made from it lowers stress and enhances memory. i don’t know if that’s true but the flowers sure are pretty.
